  10. I have a US Robotics Sportster 28.8 Voice Mail internal modem that has
  11. been giving me problems.  I was using an external 28.8 Sportster with
  12. no problems whatsoever.  But when I got the new voice mail modem and
  13. I installed it, I've been having great difficulty using my ISP.  I can
  14. connect without a problem but after a few seconds of connection, I lose
  15. lines and characters.  It is very annoying and I can't do much of anything
  16. effectively because I usually lose about half owhat I should see.

  18. I can download fairly easily.  It does seem to give me a bunch of 
  19. CRC's if I start any other programs though (this was also not a problem
  20. before witht he external 28.8).

  22. My ISP uses USR Courier 28.8 modems also.
  23.  
  24. Any ideas what I can try?  I've looked through all the documentation
  25. from USRobotics I could find and nothing helped.  Thanks
